I like 'em a lot. I first learned about the Kodak Technical Pan per accident a while ago. My work gave me some free expired films which they got in. I fell in love immediately. Shortly thereafter I learned the film was no longer in production.
I went searching and came up with the Rollei ATP which is supposed to be the successor of the film. It's something I will continue to experiment with as finding a correct developer turned out to be quite a search. It's still quite new.
HC110 is where these rolls are developed in as the Rollei RLC doesn't work properly. Have some DC developer at home which will be my next step and hopefully I'll end up with 2 kinds of developers that can satisfy different needs when desired :)

that's interesting, but not uncommom that the best developer is often not the developer from the same company. i've only played a little with some of the infrared film from rollei, i really should try some more in the autumn now.

True. Nice you played with the IR film. I still have 4 rolls at home but want to get a filter first before trying them out. Only my lens is 82mm and the price is kinda heavy :)
Do you have some IR-photos online over here?
:icondelfin:
there's a collection within my gallery [link] but only 6 film shots because the filter i use is really strong, and i never guessed the metering or focus too well! but at least i still have the rest of a big box of rollei to test with. i debated with myself for two weeks if i would get an 82mm with an adapter for my smaller lenses... unfortunately i chose the smaller 67mm filter RG715 filter, so i can't capture any huge rolling autumn landscapes in infrared.

You SHOULD!! I love them! I really have to get started with that film when I see that! Technically not all perfect as some highlights are less detailed but the effect and sphere is stunning and grasps my attention for quite some time. Keep it up!

if you're now watching my work, please give me critic... be harsh and nasty, i need it! being new to dA i'll give you one tip, write comments, criticise and help people... it's how the community grows with people like you. if you comment "nice picture." then noone learns and this place turns to shit... i'm sure that all of dA will be happy to have anyone who will help the community live and grow.

I will try to do that :) I am aware of the fact that good comments help. When people tell me they like what they see it's always nice to hear but you don't learn anything from it because it doesn't stimulate further thinking and doesn't provoke a reaction.
I'll try my very best! ThanX!
